What can I rent on Vishyam?
Vishyam gives you a wide range of categories and products to rent in such as ACs, Coolers, TVs, Home appliances, Computers, Laptops, Cameras, Books, Musical Instruments, Fitness Equipments, Baby Care Equipments and Emergency Medical Equipments. However, apart from taking rent, customer can also create an individual type Seller account to rent out their unused or occasionally used product through Vishyam rental platform. Will I receive a new or used rental item?
It depends on the seller’s immediate stock before dispatch. However, items which are brand new will be intimated to customer at the time of delivery. There is no extra charge or surge rental charge for brand new product. What I have to do to receive the rental product at my place? Simply book your desired product for the preferred rental duration and Vishyam will deliver your booking rental product at your doorstep before the beginning of your rental period.
Do I have to produce any document for receiving the rental item?
Yes. For each rental booking, you have to upload/mail your KYC Documents such as valid address proof and ID poof. For detail of KYC document please refer below:
- Identity proof (anyone with photo ): Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ Voters ID Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Identity card issued by Government body with photo 2. Address proof (Any one)-Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ Voters ID Card/ Passport /Utility bill (any one from latest 3 months from date of rental booking) /Rental Agreement/ Letter from a recognized public authority or public servant verifying the identity and residence of the Renter
Do I have to pay security deposit every time I rent out from your site?
Not necessarily. Refundable Security deposit is taken only for certain high value product which seller feels secure to handover to responsible customer for exchange of security deposit. However security deposit is fully refundable after return of product successfully without any damage of the product apart from operational wear and tear. Security deposit is fully being collected and maintained by Vishyam and refunded back to Customer after the item is returned back to seller and given clearance from seller For more details, please refer Vishyam Rental Policy.
What does professionally inspected mean?
Vishyam ensure a very pleasant and hassle free rental experience for its rental customer. We ensure dedicated professional expert checking before each delivery so that customer can relax during rental period. However, if any issue arises during rental period, customer can directly connect with seller or Vishyam Customer Care. We ensure to resolve the issue at the earliest or replace the item if required. Will I be charged GST on my rental order?
GST @18 % is applicable on all rental order as per Government norms. However, GST will be included in the displayed price.
What shipping methods are offered?
Vishyam ensures you a faster and quicker shipping method to reach the item before the desired date of booking. Items are being delivered through Vishyam Shipping service or directly by seller self-shipment service.
Where do I find my rental due date?
Rental due date will be mentioned in order as well as customer can check the rental due date from my accounts section.
How do I return my rental at the end of my rental period?
Vishyam will intimate customer much before the expiry of their rental order and will be asked to choose for rental renewal or return. However if customer choose for return, the item will be picked up from the delivery location at the schedule date of return which will be intimated to customer in email.
What happens if I am late returning my rental?
We give 2 day grace period to return back the product after the expiry of rental period.However if customer fails to return back the product after grace period, customer will be charged on per day basis from the expiry date till the item is being handover along with a late fee of Rs.300/-
Can I purchase the item during my rental period?
Yes, absolutely, you can purchase the item during rental period and your remaining rental period fees will be adjusted from the sold price of the item. However the entire deal can be made through Vishyam platform by contacting Vishyam Customer Care. For more details, please contact Vishyam Customer care.
Can I get a refund for an extension if I end up not needing it?
If you end up returning item before rental period, we will arrange immediate pick up to shift the item from your place. However, there cannot be any refund as the item is considered being booked for that period.
